Designed around Dr. Alan Marlatt's Relapse Prevention method — the clinical framework that changed how addiction treatment approaches slips and setbacks.

Block
Reform blocks the apps and websites you don't want easy access to, right on your device, using Apple's own Screen Time tools — your recovery data never leaves your phone.

Fight back
One tap away from a "thinking of relapsing?" screen built for exactly that moment — something to reach for before you act, not after. Every urge you resist gets counted, right alongside your streak.

Understand
Reform tracks what triggers you and when — boredom, loneliness, late nights — so patterns you couldn't see before start to become obvious, and something you can actually plan around.

The Science
In 1985, psychologist Dr. Alan Marlatt published Relapse Prevention, a framework that reshaped how addiction treatment approaches slips and setbacks. His research identified what's now called the Abstinence Violation Effect: the shame and self-blame that follow a lapse are often what turns one slip into a full relapse — not the slip itself.
Reform is designed around that finding. Instead of guilt-driven deterrents, Reform gives you a dedicated space the moment an urge hits, tracks both the times you resist and the times you don't without judgment, and treats a setback as information instead of failure.
